'Tis the holiday season, which I'm now going to use as an excuse for the relatively light posts as of late. I just haven't felt like there's been much to say, but the funk is nearly over and we'll be back to regular programming eventually. So why not focus on a bit of positive reinforcement this week.

Cleverness is a social plague that often does more damage than good. We forget about kindness and positivity when we're too busy trying to out savvy the next person. Perhaps it's a symptom of social media and unlimited connectivity, but I think we can do something about it with a conscious choice.

Interpretations are a funny thing, and something that comes up all the time when I'm thinking about art. I've talked about it a bit before, but lately I've been considering how frightening it can be at times to offer up a fragile idea that may be misinterpreted by another.
